“The power under the constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”

Free Speech Adbridged

Just passed... HR347...

The President signed it in secret.  Protest Prohibited!

Apparently, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano, there are now situations where if you exercise your God given RIGHTS, protected by the First Amendment, you can be jailed for a FELONY*, just for protesting (one of your RIGHTS)…

*Felon = no more voting rights in many cases, really hard to get a job (if not impossible), and will effect nearly every area of your life making it difficult if not unbearable to live.

Here's the bill at the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS for you to read directly.

This abridging of your free speech RIGHT was introduced by Thomas J. Rooney of Florida's 16th District in 2011.

(more below the break)

It was also voted for by 8 of 9 of the following Washington State Representatives (below):

1. YEA D Inslee, Jay WA 1st

2. YEA D Larsen, Rick WA 2nd

3. YEA R Herrera Beutler, Jaime WA 3rd

4. YEA R Hastings, Doc WA 4th

5. YEA R McMorris Rodgers, Cathy WA 5th

6. YEA D Dicks, Norman "Norm" WA 6th

7. YEA D McDermott, James "Jim" WA 7th

8. YEA R Reichert, Dave WA 8th

9. NO VOTE D Smith, Adam WA 9th

Considering that the Constitution (the Supreme Law of the Land) VERY clearly states:

"Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

It seems that now would be a very good time to DEMAND an explanation from these representatives as to why they feel they can simply ignore the limitations placed upon them by the Constitution, limitations which were put in place to protect our God given rights - from the government.

Absent a very good explanation, along with a successful repeal of this unconstitutional monstrosity, I would vote to REPLACE them at the very next opportunity, if not sooner (e.g. RECALL ELECTION).

After all, it's just our freedoms, and those of our children being taken away from us by our public servants. Remember those same freedoms our parents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents laid down their very lives to protect? Yeah, those freedoms.

We have the authority - and responsibility - to stop this and to be good stewards of our freedoms - to ensure they remain intact to be passed on to our posterity. But we must step into it, and enforce our Constitution, or they will be lost.
