We are now just a few weeks away from the November 8th election. In fact, the ballots are being mailed out this Friday , which means people will get them in the mailboxes early next week! While there probably won't be the same amount of hype for this election as there will be for the one taking place in 2012, there are still three initiatives and two constitutional amendments that will be on this year's ballot. These items will have an impact on our state spending, state-run liquor, increased union power, and more! Voters need to take the time to educate themselves about these issues so they can make a responsible decision with their vote. That's why the Freedom Foundation created the Informed Voter Guide. This tool gives voters the unbiased facts about how each ballot measure will impact the state without the political spin.
“The power under the constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”
