By way of Daryl, there are vacant positions in the Walla Walla County Republican party, those of the Precinct Committee Officer. This is an excellent means of helping to inject a conservative voice into the Republican party at the grassroots level. The position is elected, and an application must be filed at the County election office at 5th and Popular in Walla Walla. The application must be filed between 14 May and 18 May 2012.
If you live in one of the precincts below, please consider filing for the position. Or, if you know a conservative Republican that may be interested, and lives in any of these precincts, forward this to them.

The precinct maps provided by the Washington Secretary of State appear to be down at this time; I'll try to link them later.
If you have Google Earth, you can download a KML file that shows the precinct boundaries;
click and select "16th LD" . Once loaded, you can zoom into your neighborhood to see which precinct you are in.
