Tomorrow (5 p.m.) is the cutoff for house of origin in the WA Leg. Word is there are nearly 80 bills still in the house. Despite this fact, the democratic majority spent most of today wallowing in disarray and indecision, and therefore ONE bill was voted on. One. Your money hard at work, folks! It is up in the air whether HB 1588 will get a vote, and HB 1771 is also in the stack. That is the bill that creates regulation regarding surveillance by UAV's. It NEEDS a vote! I know everyone has rallied hard, but we need to keep pushing. Please hammer Speaker Frank Chopp's office 360-786-7920, and also call and respectfully ask Mike Hope to withdraw his support for HB 1588. This is pivotal. His number is 360-786-7892. Thanks everyone! Please Share!
“The power under the constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will, be recalled.”
